In addition to GP consultations the practice offers a range of clinics and services:
A diabetic clinic is carried out by a fully trained practice nurse. Appointments can be made by telephone or at reception.
Cervical Smear Clinic
The practice is keen to promote prevention of women’s diseases. It is important therefore, that a cervical smear is carried out every 3 to 5 years. The practice nurse is available to carry out smears on a Thursday or Friday.
Treatment will be provided by any of the doctors.
The doctors provides a minor surgery service, appointments are available on request.
Drug Monitoring Clinic
The practice runs its own warfarin clinic and also monitors specialised drugs initiated in hospital that require regular blood checks. Details available on request.
Adults are advised to have current tetanus and polio protection every 10 years. NHS holiday vaccinations can be organised by the practice nurse. Any private travel vaccines can be ordered by your local pharmacy, there maybe a cost for this service.
Pharmacist Lead Hypertension Clinic
We run a Pharmacist Lead Hypertension Clinic once weekly on a Friday. The Doctor may invite you to attend the clinic if appropriate.
Baby Immunisation Clinic
The Practice runs a baby immunisation clinic every Tuesday morning. Please contact the Surgery to make a pre-bookable appointment if your infant is due an immunisation.
A wide range of services are provided by the practice including antenatal and postnatal care is provided by all doctors.
